Hotel Description:
- The captivating Hotel Allegro Chicago was designed by award winning designer, Cheryl Rowley. This historic hotel was built in the 1920's with an art deco interior design, and Rowley transformed the hotel into a 90's version of what's hip and lively today. The Allegro stimulates threw senses with a vibrant range of colors, rich textured fabrics, bold patterns, and a contrasting blend of classic and contemporary designs. Four hundred and eighty three tastefully appointed rooms and suites decorated with vibrant and warm colors. Honor bar, iron and ironing board, hair dryer in each room. On demand movies, concierge service, same day laundry valet services, gift shop, hair salon and shoe shine. Twenty four hour parking, full service restaurant and room service. On site fitness center and in room CD boom boxes, in-room fax, 2-line speaker phones. The Hotel Allegro guestrooms provide all the comforts for today's busy executive and leisure travelers. Superior guestrooms are decorated with grapefruit wallpaper, gold Duvee with lipstick red trim, oversized sea foam green pillows and rich wood furniture. The vibrant colors are inviting and warm. Room amenities include, two line speakerphones with modem hook-up in-room fax machines, desks, CD players, boom boxes, clock radios, irons and ironing boards, on command movies, air and heat control, hair dryers and Neutrogena bath amenities. Suites consist of a living room and a king bedded room. The parlors are decorated with quiet yellow wallpaper with a bright oak star design. Additional luxuries include Terry cloth robes, Jacuzzi tubs -most suites-, entertainment centers, coffee makers, sleeper sofa -most suites- and a conference table to accommodate four to six people. The bedrooms are as vibrant as the superior room. The bedrooms contain vibrant colors, which are both warm and inviting. On the 19th floor, a 950 square foot hospitality suite, with adjoining large king room and Jacuzzi tub, looks out at Chicago's bustling West side. |
